My beautiful, fun, sweet, hard working daughter turned 9 years old on May 5th... I couldn't stop her from doing it as much as I wanted to. We celebrated by going to Great Wolf Lodge (a super fun hotel with an indoor water park) and then for her actual birthday I threw her a very very impromptu surprise party. I started making phone calls the morning of her birthday and come 6:00 she had 5 friends over for Pizza and Ice Cream Cake. What a great group of girls to celebrate with. Here's some pictures of her 9th birthday...

Basketball, Softball, Birthdays, and Others in 2010
Lex' fourth year playing ball... I'm pretty sure her favorite part is eating sunflower seeds and chanting softball cheers in the dugout... hmmm... wonder what I can do about that?
Just a nice day in Seattle... doesn't happen too often so I must memorialize it...
Before school one day... she looks so put together. The rest of the time it's t-shirt and jeans. Guess this deserved a picture too...
Lex and her cousing Allie on Easter. We had a traditional Easter dinner at BJ's pizza... :)
Lex and her friend Meg at a birthday party...
We went to a Blazers Versus Lakers Game in January... Sad thing was, no Kobe and no Brandon... so sad....

Fall 2009 Pictures
Just Lex being Lex
During September and October Lex attended a Sheryl Swoopes basketball camp for a few hours every Saturday. This is her and Ms. Swoopes... Its so exciting that my daughter was coached by an olympic gold medalist...
Lex with some of her favorite dogs
Sleepover with five girls. They were painting picture frames and we put a picture of the group in each of their frames before they went home.
Lex was Sharpay for Halloween and if you look close enough, we had a whole bottle of hair paint in her hair to turn her brown hair blonde... Lex was a little more laid back this year because she wasn't feeling so great, but we went out with friends and had fun... I wish Halloween was on a Saturday night every year.
Everyone has to have a picture at the pumpkin patch for Halloween right? We actually went out there, got some fresh donuts and apple juice, then realized they only took cash and mom didn't have enough so we left and grabbed some pumpkins at the always credit card friendly Safeway...
Lex before school just being cute... She picked out her outfit that day
Lex & I go to the Washington State Fair every year. Our first stop, barbecued corn.. Followed by elephant ears, scones, cotton candy, fudge, rides, animals, brain exhibits (yuck) etc.... Its really a good idea it only comes once a year.
