The long and short of it and last days of summer

School was already in session, but we still had one more nice day on the boat before the end of summer.

First Day of 5th Grade and American Girl Doll Store

This is the first day of 5th Grade and in Issaquah, it also means the last year of elementary school. I'm definetly sad about that!

Day Trip - Vancouver BC 2011

Day trip with college girlfriend and us to Vancouver BC. We had such a fun time sight seeing. It was our first trip there.

Universal Studios - April 8, 2011

The last leg of our trip was Universal Studios. First ride was the Simpsons, Blah. But then we did the Studio Tour and things started to look up. All in all, fun time, although I don't know that either one of us are super excited about going back.

Dracula was a bit freaky, but oh well.

I'm pretty sure Lex would love to be a singer in a rock band

Frankenstein kept playing with her hair. She turned to scold him once but he would not be deterred.

Disneyland - April 6 - 7, 2011

The usual, Disneyland. We always love it here and kinda like the idea of having a picture of Lex and Mickey every year. Mickey doesn't seem to age but Lex' height is gaining on him a bit.

Waiting for World of Color Show. This time we did it right. We bought a picnic dinner which includes reserved seats to the show. We had a great view and loved the show.

San Diego Zoo - April 4, 2011

Lex was least excited about this leg of our Spring Break, but we still went. We saw the highlights but I didn't feel too bad leaving only four hours later.
