Boating, concerts, and stuff

Took a trip on Tony's boat in Lake Washington.

It was June and the water was sooooo cold, but that would never stop Lex from hopping in... crazy girl...

Alexis Is Nine!!!!

My beautiful, fun, sweet, hard working daughter turned 9 years old on May 5th... I couldn't stop her from doing it as much as I wanted to. We celebrated by going to Great Wolf Lodge (a super fun hotel with an indoor water park) and then for her actual birthday I threw her a very very impromptu surprise party. I started making phone calls the morning of her birthday and come 6:00 she had 5 friends over for Pizza and Ice Cream Cake. What a great group of girls to celebrate with. Lex' fourth year playing ball... I'm pretty sure her favorite part is eating sunflower seeds and chanting softball cheers in the dugout... hmmm... wonder what I can do about that?

Cheerleading??

After a basketball game one day (hear it... basketball), Lex' friend booked a cheerleading day with the High School Cheerleaders. She had so much and I even have a video of her directing a group of cheerleaders through one of "her" cheers.
