Disneyland - 2010

With Mickey, We went and saw the World of Color show but we got drenched. It wasn't such a warm night so I wouldn't recommend front row view on cold nights... I wanted an umbrella for a while

This was Lexi's day to lead me around the park. We had coffee's (well hers was hot chocolate), a map, and if you notice... jeans :(... it was cold in Southern California on this trip. Sad to have to wear jeans to D-land but it was a must

Lex and Aunt Kimmie. Kimmie has been there since day 1 (literally) for Lexers. Lex loves seeing her.

My dear friend Kelly and her daughter Kaitlyn joined us for D-land on my birthday. This was waiting in line to go on it's a small world (Kaitlyn's favorite) before they closed down the ride due to an earthquake. Bummer, no fun waiting for 20 minutes and nearly getting to the boat to be turned away

Lexi did a presentation on Walt Disney this year and was so excited to have a picture taken with him at the park. We went to this Walt Disney museum type place and she loved it too.

I was at a meeting in June and mentioned I was going on vacation in July. They asked where I was going and I said D-land... they all just nodded and said, standard operating procedure.... here is us at D-land in July 2010

Boating, concerts, and stuff

Took a trip on Tony's boat in Lake Washington.

It was June and the water was sooooo cold, but that would never stop Lex from hopping in... crazy girl...

Mariners / Angels game... not a big surprise on who won... I'm here with two of my favorite little basketball players

Lex third grade concert with her teacher. They were supposed to dress up like pioneers. You should have seen the bonnets at this event. Afterwards we went to dinner and saw some friends who said, what exactly are those girls dressed up as...

Alexis Is Nine!!!!

My beautiful, fun, sweet, hard working daughter turned 9 years old on May 5th... I couldn't stop her from doing it as much as I wanted to. We celebrated by going to Great Wolf Lodge (a super fun hotel with an indoor water park) and then for her actual birthday I threw her a very very impromptu surprise party. I started making phone calls the morning of her birthday and come 6:00 she had 5 friends over for Pizza and Ice Cream Cake. What a great group of girls to celebrate with. Here's some pictures of her 9th birthday...

Lex' fourth year playing ball... I'm pretty sure her favorite part is eating sunflower seeds and chanting softball cheers in the dugout... hmmm... wonder what I can do about that?

Just a nice day in Seattle... doesn't happen too often so I must memorialize it...

Before school one day... she looks so put together. The rest of the time it's t-shirt and jeans. Guess this deserved a picture too...

Cheerleading??

After a basketball game one day (hear it... basketball), Lex' friend booked a cheerleading day with the High School Cheerleaders. She had so much and I even have a video of her directing a group of cheerleaders through one of "her" cheers.
